The temperature surrounding the Eagles' vacant personnel job is starting to heat up. This weekend, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported that the Eagles had interviewed Jaguars director of pro personnel Chris Polian for a second time. Late Monday morning, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia's Geoff Mosher reported that the second interview had not taken place.
Mosher followed up by saying that he still believes Polian is still a serious candidate for the job.
Mosher also reported early Monday afternoon that the Eagles' own Ed Marynowitz, the team's assistant director of pro personnel, and Chris Grier, the Miami Dolphins' director of college scouting, are high on head coach Chip Kelly's wish list to fill the job.
Both Marynowitz and Grier have been linked to the open personnel job since rumors began circulating in early January following the Eagles' front-office rearrangement.
