Pro Football Talk was the first to report that the Eagles are hosting free agent defensive back E.J. Biggers for a visit on Tuesday.

A seventh-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2009, Biggers spent the past two seasons with Washington. He was a safety in 2013 and the team's slot corner last season so the positional versatility could make him an interesting fit. He's started seven games over the past two seasons in Landover, Maryland.

Biggers is 6-0, 185 pounds and has four career interceptions and two forced fumbles. Drafted out of Western Michigan, Biggers has started 31 out of his 76 career regular season games. He started 12 games for the Bucs at cornerback in 2012.
