Hmm ... are Eagles fans ready to start Tebowing?

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles worked out quarterback Tim Tebow on Monday.

Yes, Tim Tebow.

Last week, the Eagles acquired 2008 Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford in a trade with the Rams. Well, Tebow was the 2007 winner of the Heisman Trophy.

Bradford's former roommate at Oklahoma was running back DeMarco Murray, who is also an Eagle. Tebow's roommate at Florida? Riley Cooper.

A first-round pick of the Broncos in 2010, he led Denver to a thrilling overtime Wild Card playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in his second season.

Tebow was traded to the Jets in 2012 and spent one season with New York. He was with the Patriots in 2013 Training Camp before being released. During his stint with New England, he spent the week of joint practices in Philadelphia so head coach Chip Kelly saw him up close.

In his three seasons in the NFL, Tebow was 8-6 in the regular season as a starter. He completed 48 percent of his pass attempts for 2,422 yards with 17 touchdowns against nine interceptions.

At Florida, Tebow not only won the Heisman, but was a three-time finalist. He guided the Gators to two National Championships and was 48-7 as a starter.
