Three members of the Eagles coaching staff -- Chip Kelly, Pat Shurmur and Bob Bicknell -- will attend Indiana WR Cody Latimer's private workout on Friday, April 25, according to Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

A relatively unheralded three-star recruit coming out of Dayton (OH) Jefferson Township High School, Latimer was ranked as the 49th wide receiver in his class and accepted a scholarship to Indiana, long one of the also-rans of the Big Ten. In just three years, however, he has enjoyed a meteoric rise despite the Hoosiers' lack of success on the gridiron. Latimer, who declared for the NFL Draft following his junior season, has become one of the hottest prospects in recent months and soared to the top of the wide receiver rankings. In fact, he is one of the 30 prospects who will attend the NFL Draft in New York City, an indication that he is expected to be a first-round selection.

Latimer measures 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds and, though he was unable to participate in drills at the NFL Scouting Combine because of a broken bone in his foot that is still healing, he led all wide receivers with 23 bench reps. He finished the 2013 season with 72 catches for 1,096 yards and nine touchdowns, this after a breakout sophomore campaign in 2012 when he posted 51 catches for 805 yards and six touchdowns.

Latimer was recovered enough from his foot injury to perform certain drills in front of NFL coaches and personnel executives at his pro day in late March, where he wowed everyone by running a 4.38-second 40-yard dash and recording a 39" vertical jump. Latimer is a rare specimen for the wide receiver position and has the size, strength, speed and athletic ability that teams covet.
