With 's rumored trade to the Miami Dolphins, the Eagles will need to evaluate their options at cornerback. According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, they have already shown preliminary interest in impending free agent Patrick Robinson.

Robinson was a first-round selection of the Saints in the 2010 NFL Draft and spent five season with the team before signing a one-year deal with the Chargers last offseason. In San Diego, the cornerback started 10 games and finished the season with 49 tackles, eight passes defensed, an interception and a forced fumble. Throughout the entirety of his career, he has 193 tackles, 54 passes defensed, 10 interceptions and one defensive touchdown, a 99-yard pick-six in 2012.

Robinson measures in at 5-11, 191 pounds and is 28 years old. He has starting experience and it is rumored the Giants, Bears and Dolphins are also interested in adding the cornerback to their rosters.
