Rumor Mill: 49ers Interested In Bicknell

Eagles position coaches continue to garner league-wide recognition as hot commodities. NFL Network's Albert Breer reported that wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell has generated interest from the San Francisco 49ers as a potential candidate for the team's open offensive coordinator job.

Bicknell has been in the NFL since 2007. Head coach Chip Kelly hired him in 2013 when Kelly first came to the Eagles.

The 49ers' interest in Bicknell continues teams' affinity for coaches who have learned from Kelly. Just last week, quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave was named the Oakland Raiders' new offensive coordinator.

Last year, quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor was hired as the Miami Dolphins' offensive coordinator.
