Roster Trimmed To 75

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced the following transactions that reduced their roster to 75:

T Jason Peters was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list
DT Mike Patterson was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list
G Mike Gibson was placed on the Injured Reserve list with a minor injury (hip flexor)
WR Jamel Hamler was waived

Peters and Patterson are eligible to return to practice with the team anytime between weeks six and nine of the regular season.

All NFL teams must reduce their rosters to 53 players by 9 pm ET on Friday, August 31.
