Roster Moves: Eagles Sign LB Moten

The Eagles traded a former Maryland linebacker last Thursday in Moise Fokou. On Monday, the Eagles signed another former Maryland linebacker in Adrian Moten. To remain at the 90-man roster limit, the Eagles released wide receiver Andrew Brewer.

The 6-2, 230-pound Moten was a rookie free agent signing of the Indianapolis Colts in 2011. He played in 10 games with Indianapolis and registered seven tackles. He was placed on waivers on November 26, 2011 and was claimed by Seattle prior to the Seahawks' game against the Eagles. Moten did not play in that contest, but played in the team's final two games of the season.

A native of Suitland, Md., Moten recorded 219 tackles, 15.5 sacks and 24 tackles for loss in his college career.
