Roster Moves: Eagles release 2 from practice squad

Roster Moves 2022 Season 1920

The Eagles announced the following roster moves on Tuesday:

• Released RB Kennedy Brooks

• Released T Roderick Johnson

Brooks was signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent out of Oklahoma following the 2022 NFL Draft and earned a spot on the practice squad following the preseason. He rushed for 3,320 yards and 31 touchdowns at Oklahoma and was just one of four players in program history with three 1,000-yard rushing campaigns.

Johnson joined the Eagles' practice squad on September 28. He was a fifth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Houston Texans, where he suited up for 31 games, including playoffs.
