Roster Moves: Eagles activate 21-day practice window for DE Genard Avery; place CB Cre'Von LeBlanc on Injured Reserve

The Eagles made a slew of roster moves on Tuesday afternoon:

• Eagles activate 21-day practice window for DE Genard Avery

The reserve defensive end went on Injured Reserve with an elbow injury following the Week 7 win over the Giants. In 68 snaps on defense over six games, Avery has six tackles and 1.5 sacks this season. The Eagles are also without Vinny Curry, who is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

• Eagles place CB Cre'Von LeBlanc on Injured Reserve

Strap suffered an ankle injury Sunday against the Browns. LeBlanc has shared nickel corner duties with Nickell Robey-Coleman this season. The Eagles are already without reserve cornerback Craig James, who went on Injured Reserve with a shoulder injury. LeBlanc has 25 tackles and a sack while playing about a third of the team's defensive snaps this season.

• Eagles release RB Adrian Killins from the practice squad

The Eagles just brought Killins back to the practice squad last Tuesday. A rookie free agent out of Central Florida, the 5-8, 177-pound Killins gained 2,459 yards on the ground, accounted for 864 receiving yards, and scored 34 total touchdowns. He earned either first- or second-team All-AAC honors in each of the past three seasons.

Killins was signed to the active roster ahead of the 49ers win and played eight snaps on offense. He was on the practice squad for every other week except for the Week 10 game against the Giants.

The Eagles did sign Jordan Howard to the practice squad on Monday.

• Eagles protect four practice squad players for Week 12

Those four players are Howard, defensive tackle T.Y. McGill, defensive end Joe Ostman, and tight end Caleb Wilson.
