Less than a month after claiming him off waivers from Washington, the Eagles put middle linebacker Steven Daniels back on waivers Thursday.

A seventh-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Boston College, Daniels landed on Injured Reserve as a rookie with a torn labrum. The Eagles have eight linebackers on the roster now, including at least three who could play in the middle led by Jordan Hicks.
