The 6-2, 249-pound Butler reportedly underwent a physical with the Eagles during his visit to the NovaCare Complex on Tuesday. The 25-year-old former Cowboy has drawn interest from a number of teams having already visited with the Browns, Saints and Steelers.
In his four-year career, Butler has been a rotational player on defense and key special teams weapon. Despite playing with DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer in Dallas, Butler has 11 career sacks.
