According to a report from Tim McManus of Birds 24/7, University of Florida defensive back Jaylen Watkins will meet with the Eagles prior to May's NFL Draft.

Standing at 6-foot, 194, Watkins (the brother of Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins) has experience playing at both the safety and cornerback position. He recorded 52 total tackles with the Gators in 2013 and is projected to be a mid-round pick.

According to McManus, Watkins' 4.41 40-yard dash time at the NFL Scouting Combine, along with his size and versatility, would make him a good fit for the Eagles defense.
NFL.com lists the following as Watkins' biggest strengths:

"Nice size for a cornerback. Good fluidity and movement skills. Alert in zones. Flashes some playmaking ability. Versatile -- lines up as a corner, safety and nickel defender and plays on all special teams."
