Report: Falcons' Turner Likely Out

According to NFL.com's Steve Wyche, the Falcons will likely be without running back Michael Turner on Sunday. Turner, who re-aggravated an ankle sprain during last Sunday's win over Tampa, did not participate in practice this week. Turner is officially listed as questionable for the game.

Including Turner, four offensive starters for Atlanta sat out all three workouts this week. The other threee include quarterback Matt Ryan (turf toe), wide receiver Michael Jenkins (ankle) and right guard Harvey Dahl (ankle). Ryan was ruled out earlier in the week by head coach Mike Smith. However, Jenkins and Dahl were listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report.

Jason Snelling, who posted a game-high 76 rushing yards while filling in for Turner two weeks ago in a loss to the Giants, is expected to start in Turner's place. Jerious Norwood will back up Snelling.

Elsewhere on the Falcons' injury report, Wide receivers Roddy White (knee) and Brian Finneran (knee), left tackle Sam Baker (elbow) and linebacker Tony Gilbert (hamstring) are all questionable. Middle linebacker Curtis Lofton (groin) is listed as probable.

The Eagles, of course, will be without wide receiver DeSean Jackson (concussion) and linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee). Receiver Kevin Curtis (knee) and running back Brian Westbrook (concussion) were ruled out earlier in the week by head coach Andy Reid. Hear what Reid had to say in his Friday media briefing.
