With 10 draft picks now at their disposal, the Eagles continue to look at potential draft picks. And the offensive line remains an area of concentration as the Eagles' talent evaluators work out draft hopefuls.
Citing a source, NationalFootballPost.com's Aaron Wilson reports that UNLV center-guard Joe Hawley is the latest prospect Philadelphia will look at. He is scheduled for a private workout with the Eagles on Thursday.
Writes Wilson: "Hawley is a 6-foot-3, 297-pounder who bench pressed 225 pounds 35 times at the combine. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.21 seconds. He improved his vertical leap to 31 1/2 inches at his Pro Day. He has been projected between the middle to later rounds, according to draft analysts."
With Jamaal Jackson working his way back after ACL surgery, coupled with the release of Shawn Andrews, it's not surprising to see the Eagles focused on ading depth along the offensive line.
Hawley has previously conducted private workouts with the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears.
