Report: Eagles Still Looking At Safety

Earlier on Tuesday, the Eagles announced that they had agreed to terms with safety Malcolm Jenkins. According to a report from Eliot Shorr- Parks of NJ.com, the team might not be done at that position.

The #Eagles are still talking with Mike Mitchell, according to a league source. Would not be surprised to see a deal get done soon. — Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) March 11, 2014

Like many of the free agent safeties, Mitchell has previously been linked to the Eagles. He is coming off of a tremendous 2013 campaign, during which he was one of only two players in the league to have at least four interceptions, three sacks and two forced fumbles in 2013.

Now that free agency is officially underway, news can break at any time. Be sure to stay with PhiladelphiaEagles.com for all of the latest news.
