On Saturday morning, Tim McManus of Birds 24/7 reported that the Eagles would be interested in Cincinnati defensive end/outside linebacker Michael Johnson.
McManus provided an update just after 4 PM, four hours after teams could begin negotiating with the certified agents for other teams' potential unrestricted free agents. In the update, McManus indicated that while there is a strong market for Johnson's services, the Eagles are not one of the teams in the mix.
