Report: Eagles Interested In O'Brien

According to a report from the Harrisburg Patriot-News, the Eagles are interested in interviewing Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien for the vacant head coaching job.

O'Brien, 43, has been credited with turning around the Penn State program after sanctions threatened to derail the season. He was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year and AT&T ESPN Coach of the Year after leading the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 record.

Before heading to Happy Valley, O'Brien spent five seasons with the New England Patriots, where he ascended to the rank of offensive coordinator for the 2011 season. The Browns and Cardinals are also reportedly interested in speaking with O’Brien.
