Report: Eagles Add CFL Pass Rusher

McCoy, 26, was originally drafted by the Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2010 draft. He spent time in Training Camp with the Steelers in 2011 before heading up north to the Canadian Football League. McCoy was tabbed as a 3-4 outside linebacker by both the Dolphins and Steelers, but he can also play defensive end in a 4-3 defense.

Last season, the 6-3, 261-pound lineman recorded 17 tackles and 3.0 sacks before suffering a season-ending knee injury on August 26, Week 8 of the CFL season. As Hall reported, McCoy indicated that his rehab is "moving at a fast pace." McCoy played collegiately at Middle Tennessee State.
