Report: DE/LB Jordan To Visit Thursday

Jordan is projected to be a top 10 selection. The 6-6, 248-pound Jordan was recruited to Oregon to play wide receiver. After two years, he was moved to the defensive side of the football and last season he had 44 tackles, 5.0 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss as a defensive end/outside linebacker who frequently dropped back into coverage. In fact, he lined up outside the box at times to cover receivers in the slot. Jordan was a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection.

An important part of the pre-draft visit is the medical evaluation. Jordan underwent surgery after the season to repair a torn labrum. Jordan did work out for teams at the NFL Scouting Combine and turned in a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash which ranked tied for fifth among all defensive ends and linebackers. He also had a 122-inch broad jump and ran the 20-yard shuttle in 4.35 seconds.

In our draft database, Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net ranked Jordan as the No. 2 outside linebacker and the fourth-best players overall in this year's class. It's only fitting that the Eagles own the No. 4 pick in this year's draft.
