Earlier in the day, rookie running back Joique Bell, an undrafted product of Wayne State and a member of the Buffalo Bills' practice squad,intimated on twitter that he was signing with the Eagles.
While nothing is official, head coach Andy Reid acknowledged on Sportsradio 610 WIP during his weekly radio show that "something could happen" with Bell in the next day or two and that the running back is in Philadelphia undergoing a physical. He did not say what the corresponding roster move would be if Bell is signed to the active roster. Reid did say that Bell could be a contributor both as a running back and as a special teamer.
Bell rushed 27 times for 152 yards in four preseason games.
