Reid: Justice Has MCL Sprain

The only injury of note for the Eagles on Thursday night was to right tackle Winston Justice, who left the game halfway through the fourth quarter with what head coach Andy Reid called after the game an MCL sprain. Justice will have an MRI on Friday morning. His status for next Sunday's game in Dallas in unknown.

For the first time since Week 9, Max Jean-Gilles got the start at right guard on the Eagles offensive line. While Nick Cole practiced all week, Reid said postgame that he wanted to give Cole and his ailing knee a rest Thursday night, especially with 10 days off until their date with Dallas on Sunday Night Football.

"(Jean-Gilles) and Nick (Cole) had both been working in there, and I thought maybe we could give Nick a rest on his knee and get him back fresh here in a few days," said Reid.

As for injured cornerback Asante Samuel, Reid said the NFL's interception leader worked out before the game and wanted to play, but that his lateral movement just wasn't good enough to go.

For updates on Justice, Cole and Samuel, tune in to PhiladelphiaEagles.com on Friday at Nfor Andy Reid's live press conference.
