RB Westbrook Back In Lineup

Running back Brian Westbrook, who sat out last week's game with an ankle strain, was active and in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Redskins. Washington, meanwhile, was without three defensive starters, including cornerback Shawn Springs, strongside linebacker Marcus Washington and defensive end Jason Taylor.

Philadelphia's offense, however, was without the services of right guard Shawn Andrews (back) and receiver Kevin Curtis (hernia). Max Jean-Gilles started his third straight game at right guard, while rookie DeSean Jackson started in place of Curtis. The team's other inactives for the game were linebacker Joe Mays, defensive end Bryan Smith, Mike McGlynn, Matt Schobel and Victor Abiamiri. A.J. Feeley was designated the team's third quarterback.

For the Redskins, veteran Fred Smoot started at left cornerback in place of Springs, who missed the second half of last week's game against Dallas because of a calf injury. Nickel linebacker H.B. Blades started at strongside linebacker in place of Washington and Demetric Evans started for a second consecutive week in place of an injured Jason Taylor. On offense, veteran Jon Jansen started at right tackle in place of injured starter Stephon Heyer. The Redskins other inactives included safety Justin Hamilton, offensive lineman Chad Rinehart and defensive end Rob Jackson. Colt Brennan was designated as Washington's third quarterback.
