Radiothon Raises Over $183K To Help EYP

The Philadelphia Eagles and SportsRadio 94WIP are excited to announce that the Eagles Radiothon raised over $183,000 over a two-day auction that ran from Tuesday, Sept. 3 to Wednesday, Sept. 4. All proceeds benefit Eagles Youth Partnership (EYP) and its various programs that serve over 50,000 children in our community every year.

"Due to the committed efforts of the entire Eagles organization, 94WIP hosts and staff, radio listeners and auction bidders, I'm proud to say that thousands more children in the Greater Philadelphia region will now be served by EYP's health and education programs," said Eagles Youth Partnership Executive Director Sarah Martinez-Helfman. "On behalf of Eagles Youth Partnership, I'd like to especially thank 94WIP; an amazing partner that continues to impress with their generous contributions."

Through this two-day auction, fans were able to bid on unique sports and entertainment prizes involving their favorite Eagles players and SportsRadio 94WIP radio personalities. Participating shows included Angelo Cataldi & The Morning Team (5:30 AM–10 AM), Michael Barkann and Ike Reese (10 AM-1 PM), Anthony Gargano and Glen Macnow (1 PM–6 PM).

"We get to see first-hand the impact our radio stations have on the community," said Marc Rayfield, Senior Vice President/Market Manager CBS Radio Philadelphia. "We are local business operators who feel it's our duty to support fine organizations like the Eagles Youth Partnership. We are proud and fortunate to be able to partner with the Eagles and give back to the community with the help of generous WIP listeners and Eagles fans."
