QB Kevin Kolb

On whether after looking at the game film he felt that his performance was as bad as he initially thought: "It's never as bad or as good as you always think it is on the field. When you went back you realize it was just a couple of plays here and there that separated us from winning the football game, and a couple of turnovers that didn't have to happen, like I said after the game. It's all fixable; so that's a good feeling."

On whether having QB Michael Vick back this week means they will play in the Wildcat formation more or less: "We really haven't gotten in depth with it yet. Mike, he was involved today a little bit, but not a whole lot. I really don't know how much they're expecting to involve it."

On whether he approaches the second start differently from the first: "You're always going to learn something. I assume there won't be quite as much worry and doubt. I can play with confidence, play assertive, just focus on the game play. There were a lot of factors last week and hopefully this week will just run smoother. And, every week that I get a chance to play just gets smoother and smoother and I can get better as a player."

On whether he feels like he is going to be the starter Sunday: "Yeah I'm going to prepare just like I did last week, taking the practices and playing in the game. When they come to me and tap me on the shoulder and say (QB Donovan McNabb) is in, then I'll go in as the backup."

On whether he is preparing for this start differently than last week's: "No, we're just going to focus on execution and efficiency. Especially me taking care of the football and just keep the offense running as smoothly as possible. We were smooth in some areas last week and we moved the ball great most of the game. But, we've got to score touchdowns when we get down there and that's part of the efficiency that we're trying to hone in on."

On whether working with the ones makes him feel more comfortable in the offense: "Absolutely, and on top of that the more game reps that you get the better you're going to feel. Now I'm building on four weeks in a row and playing, I guess this will be the fifth, and I expect myself to get better and better and run the team smoother."

On whether he sees any possibility of him being deactivated this weekend: "I have not even thought about that one bit. Like I said I am focused on being the starter and if something changes when we get to game time then I'll roll with the punches."

On whether his thoughts today about Vick as a person are different than they were a year ago: "I never try to judge somebody, that's the way I was raised, before knowing them. He is as good a person, as good a teammate as you could ever wish for. That's not saying that I had some preconceived notion of what he was as a person. But, I was really pleased when he got in here and we started working together; how likeable he was and we all get along great."

On whether it would be difficult not to have a preconceived notion about Vick: "I know it was all over the news and stuff, but I really didn't pay much attention to it. I knew what was going on, but I didn't get that involved. That's just the way that I live my life and so I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it."

On Vick's excitement about getting back on the field: "I'm sure he's very excited. He doesn't know how much we're going to use him either, if at all. He's just waiting around and seeing, making sure he's ready. He still has that calm confidence because he did dominate this league at one point and so, he can always lean back on that. He knows he's got work to do. He's working his tail off. But, he's definitely got the talent to do special things."

On how Vick has impressed him as a teammate: "How humble he was. We all know that, like I said, at one point he was making every play out there on the field that was possible. He went through a lot I know, but he is a very humble person, a very sincere person. Like I said, I love having him as a teammate."

On whether he sees himself playing with Vick in this game similarly to the way they played together against the Jets: "To be honest, if I told you something I'd be lying. I really don't know what we have in store for him, and I'm sure the coaches have something, but I have no clue."

On how he feels in the Wildcat formation with Vick:"Yeah I felt good with the Wildcat from the day we put it in, whether it's Mike or (RB Brian) Westbrook or (WR) DeSean (Jackson) back there. Whoever it is I felt good about it. It hasn't seemed to throw me out of any rhythm and I felt fine with it last week."

On the Chiefs first-round picks displaying a lot of talent: "They have good energy. There is plenty of talent there. As you look around the league there are a lot of teams with those number one draft picks across the board and the more that I hang around it I realize that it's more about not where they're drafted, but what they prove on the field. Some of the players I've known were guys that were undrafted or fifth or sixth picks. But, they're very impressive up front and very athletic."

On how crucial this game is coming off a loss and going into the bye week: "Huge, huge to rebound for one, and then obviously to have that good feeling going into the bye week and getting us back on the right track. We can kind of go, 'Okay we're 2-1, it's a positive note.' We need to have that dominance and confidence that we felt after the Carolina game after we get out of this one."

On whether there is a specific player on the Chiefs defensive line sticking out to him: "That 91 is a heck of a player. 91, (LB) Tamba Hali, he's a fast motor guy, a lot like (DE) Trent Cole, just going hard all the time. He's got the athleticism to go with (and he) makes a lot of plays for them."

On if he expects WR DeSean Jackson to play Sunday:"Yeah, we do expect to have him."
