Practice Blog: August 2

Here's a recap of what's took place on Sunday morning at the practice fields of Lehigh University. The updates are provided by Bob Kent (BK), Chris McPherson (CM) and Bo Wulf (BW)..

  • 8:12 AM -The rain from last night and this morning has forced the team to move practice to the turf field adjacent to the main practice fields. The practice is now closed to the public. In my six years of covering training camp, this is the first practice that I can remember being held at these turf fields. (CM)
  • 8:31 AM- Big news from the turf lacrosse/field hockey field here at Lehigh as Jason Peters is back practicing with the team after sitting out a couple days with a quad spasm. It's encouraging that the monster left tackle who came over from Buffalo this off-season felt comfortable enough to practice under these conditions, and that he can finally start working in tandem with the rest of the offensive line. The only player now missing from the projected starting o-line is Shawn Andrews. (BW)
  • 8:54 AM - Also back on the field is Ellis Hobbs, who was day-to-day with an ankle injury that he incurred at Saturday morning's practice. He sat out the afternoon session. (BW)
  • 9:01 AM - It's raining down here pretty hard at the field, so this practice will be ending shortly. With the return of Jason Peters, there were two looks to the offensive line. The primary one used was - going from from left to right - Peters, Nick Cole, Jamaal Jackson, Stacy Andrews and Todd Herremans. The other look was Peters, Herremans, Jackson, Stacy Andrews and Winston Justice. (BW)
