Post-Game Notebook

Here are some notes following Sunday's loss to San Diego ...

400 for 5 ... QB Donovan McNabb completed 35 of 55 passes for 450 yards and two touchdowns, marking his second career 400-yard passing game (he threw for 464 yards on 12/5/04 vs. Green Bay) and his 28th career 300-yard game (including playoffs). His 35 completions tied a career high, which he previously set vs. the Chargers on 10/23/05.

Slot Machine ... WR Jason Avant posted career highs in catches (8) and yards (156), marking his second career 100-yard game. He also caught a career-long 58-yard pass from McNabb, which set up a field goal, and a 21-yard, highlight-film catch on 3rd-and-18 that led to a touchdown.

Green Akers ... K David Akers has connected on 11 consecutive field goal attempts, including three Sunday. He has now made 249 field goals in his career, one shy of becoming the 28th player in NFL history to reach 250.

Offensive Quick Hits ... WR Jeremy Maclin caught his fourth touchdown of the season ... WR DeSean Jackson had a career-high eight catches ... TE Brent Celek caught his fifth touchdown of the season ... The Eagles have surrendered just one first-half turnover all season ... WR Reggie Brown has now turned 24 of his last 26 third-down catches into first downs.

Birdseed ... RB Brian Westbrook played in his 105th game, tying Keith Byars for second place in team history among running backs ... DE Juqua Parker picked up his 21st sack as an Eagle, tying Brian Dawkins (21) for 17th place in team history ... The defense has not allowed a 100-yard rusher all season (16 games dating back to last season – 11/9/08 vs. NYG).
