Here are some news and notes following the loss to Dallas ...

McNabb Making His Mark ... With one touchdown pass on the night, Donovan McNabb now has 175 for his career, tying Ron Jaworski (175) for most TD passes in team history. He is the seventh active quarterback to lead his franchise in that category. The others include Brett Favre (442, Green Bay); Peyton Manning (307, Indianapolis), Tom Brady (197, New England); Mark Brunell (144, Jacksonville); Jake Delhomme (98, Carolina); and David Carr (59, Houston). Of course, Favre, Brunell and Carr are no longer with those teams.
The Book On 'Brook ... Brian Westbrook scored his 25th career receiving TD and his 30th career rushing TD Monday night, becoming one of only seven players in NFL history to have at least 25 rushing and 25 receiving TDs, joining Marshall Faulk (100 rushing, 36 receiving), Lenny Moore (63, 48), James Brooks (49, 30), John David Crow (38, 35), Frank Gifford (34, 43), and Timmy Brown (31, 26). Westbrook scored two rushing TDs and one receiving TD, tying a career high with 3 total touchdowns.

It marked the 10th time in his career that he scored at least 1 rushing and 1 receiving TD in the same game. Since 1970, only Marshall Faulk (15) has registered more such games in his career. With 30 career rushing TDs, Westbrook passed Timmy Brown (29) for 5th place in team history.
DJ's Big Night ... Rookie WR DeSean Jackson caught 6 passes for 110 yards, marking the second straight game he has eclipsed the 100-yard mark. According to Elias Sports Bureau, he joins former Eagles receiver Don Looney (1940) as the only two players in NFL history to start their careers with two consecutive 100-yard games.

Right Place, Right Time ... LB Chris Gocong scored the first TD of his career on a fumble recovery in the end zone. FS Brian Dawkins forced Cowboys QB Tony Romo to fumble and Gocong pounced on the loose ball for the score. The last time the Eagles defense scored on a fumble recovery was at San Francisco on 9/24/06, when DT Mike Patterson recovered a fumble (also forced by Dawkins) at the Eagles' 2-yard line and returned it 98 yards for a TD.

Birdseed ... The Eagles have scored 75 points in the first two games of the season, most in franchise history after two games … With three field goals on the night, K David Akers (201) surpassed 200 for his Eagles career. Akers is also the team's all-time leading scorer with 920 points … CB Asante Samuel registered his first-career INT as an Eagle. It was his 17th INT since 2006, the most in the NFL during that span (Champ Bailey and Charles Woodson each have 14) … FS Brian Dawkins played in his 169th game as an Eagle, tying Chuck Bednarik for 2nd place in team history. He trails only Harold Carmichael (180) … P Sav Rocca boomed a 61-yard punt, the third-longest of his career.
