Peters Snubbed In Pro Bowl Vote

The Eagles' Pro Bowl nominees need help from you, the fans! As of December 2, the Eagles have six players ranked in the top-five in fan voting at their positions in the NFC:

DE Jason Babin (No. 2) - A one-time Pro Bowl selection
CB Nnamdi Asomugha (No. 3) - A three-time Pro Bowl selection
RB LeSean McCoy (No. 3)
DT Cullen Jenkins (No. 3)
ST Colt Anderson (No. 5)
SS Kurt Coleman (No. 5)

If voting ended today, Babin, Asomugha, McCoy, and Jenkins would make the final cut.

Mysteriously absent from that list is left tackle Jason Peters who, as Eagles fans know, is having a monster season leading the way for the league's rushing leader LeSean McCoy.

We need to get out the vote, not only for the six players listed above, but for Peters, as well. If everyone who reads this update were to vote just 10 times, LeSean McCoy, Cullen Jenkins, and Nnamdi Asomugha would each likely move into second place. Jason Peters would also likely move back into the top five amongst offensive tackles.

Most importantly, Colt Anderson, who is one of most determined and selfless players on the team, could make a meteoric jump from fifth place to second place amongst specialists with just a few more votes. The second-year safety out of Montana tragically tore his ACL in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks. Let's get Colt the recognition he deserves.

Your vote could be the deciding one, so get out and cast your ballot now! Remember, you can vote as many times as you'd like, so do it early and do it often.
