Notebook: Perfect On Thanksgiving


Bird Day Success ... The Eagles improved to 6-0 all time on Thanksgiving, outscoring their opponents by a margin of 144-44 ... The Eagles have won both of their Thanksgiving games against Dallas by a combined score of 60-10 ... The Eagles have won four of their last five games in Dallas ... The Eagles are 7-2 against NFC East opponents under Chip Kelly.

Real McCoy ... RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 159 yards and his fourth touchdown of the season. In doing so, he eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season, becoming the first Eagle ever with four 1,000-yard campaigns ... The Eagles are 20-3 in McCoy's 23 career 100-yard games ... McCoy has rushed for 745 yards over the last seven games, including four 100-yard performances ... McCoy has reached the end zone in three of the last four weeks ... In his last four games against the Cowboys, McCoy has rushed for 474 yards with three 100-yard games ... With 6,491 career rushing yards, McCoy is 47 yards shy of Wilbert Montgomery's franchise record of 6,538 yards.

Big Mac ... WR Jeremy Maclin led the Eagles with eight receptions and 108 yards, marking his 14th career 100-yard game, which is tied for the seventh-highest total in franchise history ... Maclin has a career-high 1,088 yards this season, which ranks as the 16th-best single-season total in team annals ... He also has a career high 71 receptions ... The Eagles have had 23 1,000-yard performances by 13 players ... Maclin had a 59-yard reception, and leads the NFL with six catches of 50-plus yards this year.

Offensive Quick Hits ... QB Mark Sanchez threw for 217 yards and a touchdown for a 102.2 rating and also contributed 29 rushing yards and his first rushing score since 12/24/11 ... Sanchez became the league-leading 16th Eagle to score a touchdown this season on the 13th rushing touchdown of his career ... The last time the Eagles had a 100-yard rusher and receiver in the same game was on 11/10/13 at Green Bay ...The Eagles amassed a season-high 256 rushing yards.

The Book on the Rook ... WR Jordan Matthews had 51 receiving yards and his seventh touchdown of the season ... In just 12 games this year, Matthews already ranks sixth in receptions (54), seventh in yards (686) and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns ... Over the last four games, Matthews has 22 catches for 373 yards ... Five of his touchdowns have come in the last five games.

Defensive Nuggets ... The Eagles forced three turnovers, including interceptions by CB Cary Williams and S Nate Allen ... Birdseed ... LS Jon Dorenbos played in his 129th consecutive game with the Eagles, tying Frank LeMaster for seventh on the Eagles all-time list ... With 480 punt return yards this year, Darren Sproles now ranks fourth in team history for a single season ...K Cody Parkey has made nine field goals in the last two games including all four of his attempts against Dallas, which is a team record over a two-game span ... With 27 field goals made this season, Parkey trails only Paul McFadden (30 in 1984) among Eagles rookies all-time. His 125 points are an Eagles rookie record.
