Notebook: Foles In Rare Company

Saint Nick ... QB Nick Foles threw for 428 yards, setting a career high and tying for the sixth-highest total in team history ... Foles also threw for three touchdowns, marking his fifth such game this season. Norm Snead (6 in 1967) is the only Eagle with more three-touchdown games in a season ... With a passer rating of 117.0 in 2013, Foles boasts the fourth-best rating in NFL history, trailing only Aaron Rodgers (122.5 in 2011), Peyton Manning (121.1 in 2004) and Tom Brady (120.0 in 2013) ... Over the last six games, he has completed 113 of 176 attempts (64.2%) for 1,776 yards, 17 touchdowns and two interceptions. His 125.1 passer rating is the highest ever by an Eagle over a six-game span, topping Donovan McNabb's 116.0 in 2004 ... With seven games of a QB rating exceeding 100 in 2013, Foles is two shy of the team record set by McNabb in 2004. Ron Jaworski is second with eight in 1980 ... Foles qualified to become the Eagles all-time leader in career quarterback rating (98.1) and completion percentage (61.4).  

Jackpot ... WR DeSean Jackson accumulated 195 yards and a touchdown on a career-high 10 receptions ... It was the second-best yardage output of his career and ranks ninth in team history ... Jackson has a career-high 1,275 receiving yards this year, which trails only Mike Quick (1,409 yards in 1983) and Irving Fryar (1,316 in 1997) for the franchise record ... Jackson has five 100-yard games this  year, which ties a career high and is the fourth-most in team history ... Jackson's 32 career touchdowns tied him with Ben Hawkins for eighth on the Eagles all-time list and his 6,421 scrimmage yards moved him past Steve Van Buren for ninth.

Racking Up The Yards … The Eagles have accumulated over 450 total net yards in five games this season, tying the franchise record set in 1963 and 1951. Their 5,796 yards this season are already the fourth-highest total in team history and a team record through 14 games ... The Eagles have compiled 3,656 passing and 2,140 rushing yards this season, becoming the fourth team in NFL history with over 3,500 passing yards and 2,100 rushing yards through 14 games (2004 Chiefs, 1998 49ers, 1968 Raiders).

Fabulous 400 … The Eagles became the fifth team in NFL history to record 11 games with at least 400 yards of offense in a single season. The NFL record is 13 by the 2011 New Orleans Saints. The Eagles also became the fourth team in NFL history with 11 games of at least 400 yards in their first 14 contests, joining the 2013 Denver Broncos (12), 2011 Saints (11) and the 2007 Patriots (11).

Double Trouble … RB LeSean McCoy and Jackson became the first 1,200-yard rushing and receiving duo in team history ... McCoy' s 1,343 rushing yards this season are a career-high and rank as the fourth-highest total all-time by an Eagle.

Offensive Quick Hits ... TE Zach Ertz scored his fourth receiving touchdown this year, tying Jeremy Maclin for eighth among Eagles rookies all time ... TE Brent Celek (3,846) moved past Calvin Williams for 10th on the Eagles receiving yards list ... WR Jason Avant scored his second touchdown of the season.

Pick 'em … LB Mychal Kendricks intercepted Matt Cassell, his second of the season, and now has a team-leading six takeaways this year ... The Eagles have doubled their interception total from last year, picking off 16 passes this year, including 14 since Week 5 … Eight different players have registered a pick for the Eagles this season, including five players with at least two.

Birdseed ... LB Connor Barwin was credited with his fifth sack of the season, tying LB Trent Cole for the team lead ... LB DeMeco Ryans notched his fourth sack of the season, becoming the fourth Eagles player with at least four sacks and two interceptions in the same season. The others are William Thomas (1997, 1996, 1993), Seth Joyner (1992, 1991, 1987) and Jerome Brown (1987) ... Kendricks became the third Eagle this season to have a sack and an interception in the same game, joining Ryans (10/20/13 vs. Dallas) and CB Cary Williams (9/9/13 at Washington) ... K Alex Henery was a perfect 3-3 on field goal attempts and tied a career long with a 51-yarder ... With 30 punts downed inside the 20-yard line, P Donnie Jones trails only Jeff Feagles (31 in 1993) for most in a single-season in team history.
