No Practice For Young, Tapp, Rodgers-Cromartie

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle), quarterback Vince Young (hamstring) and defensive end Darryl Tapp (pectoral) all did not practice for the Eagles Wednesday. Head coach Andy Reid said during his press conference that Young is improving daily from the hamstring strain he suffered in the preseason finale and is day-to-day.

Meanwhile, linebacker Akeem Jordan, who suffered a partial tear in his shoulder was a limited practice participant. Safety Nate Allen (knee), tackle Winston Justice (knee), defensive end Juqua Parker (foot) and wide receiver Steve Smith (knee) were all full participants.

For the Falcons, the defensive tackle ranks continue to thin as starter Jonathan Babineaux did not practice with a knee injury that is expected to keep him out from Sunday night's primetime matchup. Fellow starting defensive tackle Corey Peters, who missed the team's opener, was a limited participant with a knee injury.

Two other starters, center Todd McClure (knee) and fullback Ovie Mughelli (knee) also did not practice for the Falcons, likewise for slot receiver Harry Douglas (concussion) and cornerback Christopher Owens (ankle). Pro Bowl wide receiver Roddy White (knee) was a full participant.
