Quarterback Nick Foles and running back Bryce Brown are one day closer to starting on Monday night against Carolina.
Quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy did not practice on Friday as each player is recovering from a concussion. Wide receiver Jason Avant also missed practice with a hamstring injury. Running back Chris Polk has been ruled out due to a toe sprain.
With Polk out and McCoy's status in question, Brown is in line to make his first career start. Dion Lewis would be the only other active running back. Fullback Stanley Havili indicated on Friday that his role is not going to change for the game on Monday.
If Avant misses his second straight game, the Eagles have will have wide receiver Riley Cooper, who was a full participant with a knee injury. Cooper has seven catches for 85 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (foot/ankle) and guard Danny Watkins (ankle) were also full participants in practice.
For the Panthers, defensive end Greg Hardy did not participate in practice due to an illness. He was the only starter to miss practice for the Panthers. Defensive end Antwan Applewhite (hamstring) and linebacker Jordan Senn (ankle) also did not practice. Four players were full participants for non-injury related reasons - linebacker Thomas Davis, defensive tackle Dwan Edwards, defensive tackle Ron Edwards and offensive tackle Jordan Gross.
Also practicing fully for Carolina were center Geoff Hangartner (knee), safety Colin Jones (head) and wide receiver Steve Smith (finger).
