No Practice For Vick

Head coach Andy Reid said that quarterback Michael Vick will not practice on Wednesday due to the broken ribs he suffered Sunday against Arizona.

While Reid said that Vince Young and Mike Kafka would split the first-team reps at quarterback, he did not reveal how many reps each player would get.

Vick was not ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants. Reid said that if Vick "has an opportunity to play, he will play." Reid did say that Vick "is sore."

Safety Nate Allen and guard Evan Mathis return to practice Wednesday for the Eagles. Allen missed Sunday's game with a concussion and Mathis was sidelined with a toe injury. Mathis told reporters that he would have a better idea after practice if he will be able to play Sunday night. Allen, meanwhile, returns to the starting lineup and will be paired up alongside Kurt Coleman.

The following players will also not practice Wednesday due to injury: offensive lineman King Dunlap (concussion), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (shoulder/hamstring) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle).
