No Andrews Again For Giants

Projected starting left tackle Shawn Andrews missed practice for a second straight day because of the back injury that has been an issue since his days with the Eagles. Andrews was thrust into the starting lineup because of injuries to starting center Shaun O'Hara (foot) and left tackle David Diehl (hip, hamstring). O'Hara and Diehl also missed Thursday's practice and are unlikely to play. Andrews played well last week against Dallas as he held DeMarcus Ware without a sack.

Will Beatty would start at left tackle if neither Diehl nor Andrews can't play.

Also sidelined for Thursday's practice were tight end Kevin Boss (back) and cornerback Corey Webster (toe). Boss injured his back against Dallas last Sunday and didn't appear on Wednesday's injury report. However, reports indicate that Boss will play against the Eagles. Webster was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Wide receiver Steve Smith (pectoral) also did not practice, but he is not expected to play anyway.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) and fullback Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) were limited participants in practice. Umenyiora is given a light load during the week because of the knee.

The Eagles will release their injury report following Thursday's practice.
