Nick Foles In At QB For Michael Vick

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Quarterback Nick Foles entered the game for Michael Vick with 1:25 left in the first half after Vick suffered a hamstring injury and led the Eagles on a scoring drive which culminated with a 36-yard Alex Henery field goal as time expired to give the Eagles a 19-7 lead. As the third quarter began, Vick's status to return was questionable.

Vick suffered the hamstring injury on a 13-yard scramble on the offense's previous drive, but he remained in the game and led the Eagles to a field goal. On the first play of the final drive of the half, Vick rolled out and threw an incomplete pass from inside the end zone. He took a hit from Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and exited the game.

Foles was poised completing 7-of-8 pass attempts 68 yards. The key play was a 21-yard pass along the right side to DeSean Jackson, which showed beautiful anticipation by the second-year quarterback.
