Maclin Deal Not Happening Tonight?

Despite an earlier report from Bob Brookover of the Philadelphia Inquirer that a deal between Jeremy Maclin and the Eagles was close, Brian Seltzer of 950 ESPN Philadelphia cites a source close to the negotiations that there will be no agreement reached tonight.

Indianapolis Colts President Bill Polian announced earlier today that the team has agreed to terms with rookie running back Donald Brown, the 27th pick of the first round. Once Brown signs his contract, Jeremy Maclin, the 19th pick of the draft, will be the lowest remaining first-round draft pick still unsigned. There are currently 11 players who have not agreed to contract terms, nine of whom were drafted in the top 15.

Alas, Jeremy Maclin will not be making his Eagles debut at tonight's Flight Night! festivities - Eagles fans can only hope they see him at Lehigh as soon as possible.
