Maclin Back To Practice; Vick, Jackson Update

The Eagles get one of their offensive weapons back on the practice field.

Head coach Andy Reid told reporters that wide receiver Jeremy Maclin would be back at practice Wednesday. Maclin missed Sunday night's game against the Giants with a hamstring and shoulder injury.

However, quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver DeSean Jackson would not practice due to injury. Vick is sidelined with the rib injury. He did a light throwing session on Tuesday, according to Reid, but can still feel the injury. Vince Young will take the first-team reps in practice. Vick is improving, as he could not even throw the ball last week. Reid said Vick could do some more throwing on Wednesday and Thursday. If Vick is healthy enough to play this Sunday against New England, he will play Reid said.

Jackson is battling a foot contusion. His right foot was stepped on early in the win over the Giants, but he continued to play. Jackson left MetLife Stadium in a walking boot. Reid said the swelling is coming down, but is not all the way out of the foot.

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) and offensive tackle King Dunlap (concussion) would also miss practice.
