Friday's Injury Report

The Eagles will have Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens back in the lineup on Sunday night against the Detroit Lions.

Jurgens suffered a knee injury on October 19 when the Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings. Brett Toth started in the wins over the Giants and the Packers that sandwiched the Bye Week. Jurgens returned to practice this week. He was a full participant in Friday's practice and has no game status designation for Sunday.

"I'm just trying to get better every day, every week," Jurgens said on Friday in the locker room after practice.

Jurgens praised Toth's performance in helping steady the offense in his absence. Toth has never previously started at center prior to the October 26 win over the Giants.

"Brett did a great job," Jurgens said. "He's been in the league seven, eight years now. He stepped in. Did a great job. Communication was good. He knows exactly what we're doing."

Every Eagle on the active roster was a full participant in Friday's practice. The only player who is questionable for Sunday night is center/guard Willie Lampkin, who is on Injured Reserve with knee/ankle injuries. Lampkin was a full participant in practice all week, but would need to be activated from Injured Reserve by Saturday at 4 PM to be eligible to play against the Lions.

The Eagles did announce practice squad roster moves on Friday afternoon. They re-signed cornerback Ambry Thomas and released defensive end Titus Leo.

Lions rule out 3 starters, 10 players questionable

Whew, the Lions have quite the injury report entering Sunday night's clash at Lincoln Financial Field

The Lions will be without starting cornerback Terrion Arnold, who suffered a concussion last Sunday against Washington. Starting safety Kerby Joseph has been out since the Week 6 loss to the Chiefs due to a lingering knee injury. Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta is out with a back injury.

There are 10 players listed as questionable for the Lions.

Both starting offensive tackles are part of this group. Left tackle Taylor Decker did not practice on Friday as he was rested with a shoulder injury. He was limited in practice this week. All-Pro Penei Sewell also did not practice on Friday because of an ankle injury. He was limited on Thursday.

Detroit could also be without their other starting cornerback Amik Robertson, who suffered a hamstring injury during practice this week. He is questionable for Sunday night.

Pro Bowl defensive end Aidan Hutchinson missed Wednesday's practice with an elbow injury, but he's good to go for Sunday.

Defensive lineman Pat O'Connor was placed on Injured Reserve with a knee injury.

Thursday's Injury Report

The Eagles will have some decisions to make on Sunday night before they take on the Detroit Lions.

With the entire team practicing on Thursday in at least some capacity, there will be several healthy scratches on the inactives list. That's a good problem for a team to have in Week 11 of the regular season.

Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens practiced for the first time since suffering a knee injury in the Week 7 win against Minnesota. Jurgens would have practiced on Wednesday, but the team held a walk-through coming off the Monday night win in Green Bay. Jurgens was limited on Thursday.

Everyone else on the active roster was a full participant.

Both Lions starting CBs featured on injury report

Cornerback Terrion Arnold missed a second straight day of practice after suffering a concussion in Sunday's win over the Commanders.

Adding to the Lions' woes in the secondary, cornerback Amik Robertson was added to the injury report as a limited participant with a hamstring injury.

Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who missed Wednesday's practice with an elbow injury, was a full participant on Thursday.

"We've been looking at this one on our calendar for a long time," Hutchinson said. "Coaches are going to have us ready, we're going to be ready for this game, and we really see this as a must win."

Wednesday's Injury Report

Cam Jurgens would have returned to the practice field for the first time since suffering a knee injury in the Week 7 win in Minnesota on Wednesday.

Jurgens has missed the past two games, but would have been a limited participant as the Eagles returned to action following Monday night's victory over the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles held a walk-through on Wednesday, so the practice participation report is an estimation. Regardless, it's a positive sign for the Eagles' offensive line.

In fact, the entire 53-man active roster would have participated in some capacity on Wednesday.

Tackle Lane Johnson, who courageously returned to the game in the fourth quarter after being carted off with an ankle injury late in the first half, would have been a limited participant on Wednesday.

Aidan Hutchinson sidelined for the Lions

Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson missed his first practice of the season on Wednesday due to an elbow injury, but told Detroit reporters that he expects to play on Sunday night against the Eagles.

Hutchinson only missed four defensive snaps in Sunday's rout of the Washington Commanders. He has generated 48 QB pressures (Next Gen Stats), second in the NFL to Denver's Nik Bonitto. Next Gen added that Hutchinson has been chipped 70 times, also the second most in the league. Hutchinson leads the Lions with seven sacks.

Cornerback Terrion Arnold did not practice as he is in the concussion protocol. He suffered the injury during the game against Washington on Sunday. He was replaced in the lineup by Rock Ya-Sin.

Pro Bowl tight end Sam LaPorta did not practice because of a back injury.

All-Pro tackle Penei Sewell missed practice time last week with a shoulder injury. On Wednesday, Sewell did not practice due to a knee injury.

Safety Kerby Joseph remains sidelined with a knee injury. He hasn't played since the October 12 loss to the Chiefs.
