Left Ankle Injury For D. Jackson

With temperatures in the 90's, the Eagles underwent another grueling afternoon practice that featured two extended periods of live hitting. Only one player was unable to complete practice because of injury, wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who incurred a left ankle injury. The injury is not expected to be serious, as Jackson walked off the field on his own accord.

First-round pick defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was excused from Friday's practice for personal reasons.

Following practice, the team worked out defensive end Ayanga Okpokowuruk, who played collegiately at Duke and has spent time on the practice squad of the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns.
