JACKSONVILLE-- After starting at middle linebacker last week, Omar Gaither is inactive as Stewarty Bradley returns to his starting spot. Rookie Jamar Chaney will serve as the team's backup middle linebacker.
Defensive end Darryl Tapp is active for the first time this season against the run-heavy Jaguars. To make room for him, fellow defensive end Antwan Barnes is inactive.
The rest of the inactives are: quarterback Mike Kafka (third quarterback), offensive lineman Austin Howard, cornerback Trevard Lindley, linebacker Keenan Clayton, defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim and tight end Clay Harbor.
UPDATE: The Jaguars have announced their inactives: safety Anthony Smith, running back Deji Karim, fullback Brock Bolen, linebacker Justin Durant, tight end Zach Potter, defensive end Austen Lane, defensive tackle Landon Cohen and offensive lineman Kevin Haslam.
Smith was expected to start at strong safety. He'll likely be replaced by Courtney Greene.
