Kendricks: I'll Be In Practice This Week

Linebacker Mychal Kendricks posted on his website Monday morning that he will be back at practice when the Eagles return to action Tuesday from the bye weekend. Kendricks suffered a calf injury in the Week 2 win in Indianapolis and has missed the past four contests. The third-year playmaker started strong with 20 tackles, a sack and three quarterback hurries before the injury. Kendricks has not participated in practice since that Monday night win.

"I'll be in practice this week pushing forward," Kendricks wrote.

The Eagles have used a rotation at inside linebacker alongside fellow starter DeMeco Ryans in Kendricks' absence with Emmanuel Acho and Casey Matthews receiving the majority of the reps. Acho started the Week 3 win over Washington, while Matthews was with the first team in the past three contests.

Ryans leads the Eagles with 53 tackles. Matthews has 23 tackles, a tackle for loss, a half-sack and a fumble recovery. Acho has 17 tackles on the season.

The 5-1 Eagles travel to Arizona to face the 5-1 Cardinals. The Eagles and the Cardinals are two of only four one-loss teams in the entire NFL.
