Kelly: Redskins Won't See Vick

Before heading out to the practice fields for another day of preparation, head coach Chip Kelly updated the injury status of his team.

In talking about the differences between this upcoming matchup with the Washington Redskins compared to the Week 1 meeting, Kelly indicated that Michael Vick will not play on Sunday, as the quarterback continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

"There are always a couple of wrinkles here or there (that are different)," said Kelly. "They played against Mike and they're not going to play against Mike this time, so it's different."

Kelly also updated the health of two other players, Mychal Kendricks (knee) and Jason Peters (quadriceps, pectoral), saying that their status for Sunday is still yet to be decided.

"They didn't participate yesterday," Kelly explained. "They did a couple of things on the side with the trainer and we'll see how it goes today."
