Kelce Returns, Wolff To Start At S

Safety Nate Allen, who has started all seven games of the season for the Eagles thus far, will not play Sunday against the Houston Texans because of a hamstring injury. Second-year safety Earl Wolff is expected to start alongside Malcolm Jenkins.

The Eagles' seven inactive players are Allen, quarterback Matt Barkley, offensive lineman Dennis Kelly, defensive end Taylor Hart, wide receiver Brad Smith, offensive lineman Julian Vandervelde and linebacker Marcus Smith II.

Center Jason Kelce returns to the starting lineup after missing four games with a hernia. Along with Todd Herremans, who will try to play through a biceps injury, the return of Kelce means Nick Foles will have four of the expected first-team offensive linemen in the lineup (Evan Mathis is eligible to return to action next week).

The Texans, meanwhile, will be thin at the linebacker position without both Brian Cushing and first-round draft pick Jadeveon Clowney.
