Join The Cheerleaders!

The Eagles Cheerleading Squad, along with several members of United By Blue, will be removing debris from the Delaware River at Neshaminy State Park from 6-8 tonight. It is expected that the volunteers will be removing in excess of 300 pounds of debris that would have eventually ended up in the Atlantic Ocean.

This hands-on activity is just one of the many environmental projects that the cheerleaders are involved in year-round as part of their commitment to Go Green. The cheerleaders will be divided into groups and will compete to see who can remove the most trash.

On Thursday, the Eagles Cheerleaders will unveil their 2010-2011 Eco-Friendly Calendar, which brings awareness to ocean conservation. Ten percent of this year's calendar sales will be donated to the Gulf Restoration Network. To purchase tickets for the Eagles Cheerleaders Calendar Unveiling event, please click here .
