Jean-Gilles Returns To Practice, Could Start

Right guard Max Jean-Gilles returned to practice Saturday, six days after suffering a concussion against the Indianapolis Colts. Reid said that Jean-Gilles was cleared by both the team doctor and a third-party doctor. Nick Cole practiced with the first team at right guard earlier in the week, though he was rested Saturday so as not to aggravate the knee inflammation he's dealt with this season.

"We'll see how it goes on game day," Reid said in regard to which player will start Monday night. "We feel comfortable with both of them."

Reid also ruled out safety Nate Allen (neck sprain) and cornerback Ellis Hobbs (hip flexor strain). Rookie Kurt Coleman and Dimitri Patterson will start in their places.
