Jaguars Begin; Browns End Search

Just one day after David Caldwell was named general manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mike Mularkey was dismissed as head coach after one season on the job. Jacksonville finished 2-14 in Mularkey's one campaign. Reports indicate that the Jaguars could be interested in some of the names that have also a part of the Eagles' search including former Bears head coach Lovie Smith and Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians. One new name that has surfaced through initial reports is Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

As the Jaguars begin their process, the Browns have ended theirs. ESPN's Chris Mortensen was the first to report Thursday night that Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski will be Cleveland's new head coach. Chudzinski was not a name that has appeared in reports regarding the Eagles' search.

In addition to Jacksonville and the Eagles, the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears and the San Diego Chargers remain on the lookout for a new head coach.
