Injury Update: Peters "Bugged" Reid To Return

Head coach Andy Reid said that offensive tackle Jason Peters suffered a head and shoulder injury on the same third-down play early in the second quarter. Peters did not return and was replaced by Todd Herremans, who slid out to left tackle from his usual left guard post. Nick Cole moved from right guard to left guard and Max Jean-Gilles played at right guard.

Reid was asked if Peters suffered a concussion and said, "I don't know." However, Reid added that Peters "bugged me the whole game to go back in" so the head coach didn't "think it was too bad."

Reid said that they held out Peters as a precautionary measure. Peters tried to cut someone on the play where he got injured, according to Reid, and got "dinged a little bit" with the head and shoulder injuries.

Quarterback Michael Vick suffered a hand contusion, according to Reid. Vick said that there was swelling, but if he had to play he would have. The Eagles enjoyed a comfortable margin and didn't need Vick's services.

Reid did not mention any other players in the post-game injury report.
