Injury Update From Coach Reid

Head Coach Andy Reid began his press conference with a comprehensive injury update. Offensive lineman Todd Herremans sat out today's practice with a swollen ankle. Reid doesn't suspect that it should hold him out of practice for very long.

Coach Reid said DeSean Jackson would likely have practiced today after hyperextending his knee yesterday had the conditions been better. He should be back tomorrow.

Coach Reid also said that Stewart Bradley has knee surgery for his torn ACL scheduled for August 11th. Cornelius Ingram, who also tore his ACL, is consulting a doctor to schedule surgery as well.

Shawn Andrews and Victor Abiamiri continue to improve, Reid said. And Brian Westbrook, Trevor Laws, and Matt Schobel haveall been running and are improving as well.

Coach Reid said he was also happy to get Jason Peters and Stacy Andrews some action in today's practice in situational drills. They are both showing very good signs of progress, he said.
