Injury Report: Good News For Maclin, Cromartie

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) appear to be on track to return to action this Sunday against the Dolphins despite being limited participants in Thursday's practice.

After practice, Maclin said that "the goal right now is to play Sunday and it's definitely looking like that." Maclin has missed the last three games primarily because of the hamstring injury.

Rodgers-Cromartie has been sidelined for the same amount of time with a high-ankle sprain that he suffered on a kickoff return. Rodgers-Cromartie said that he's about "80-85 percent" at this point and with some tape to stabilize the ankle he should be able to play. The decision, ultimately, is up to the coaches, but defensive coordinator Juan Castillo said on Thursday that he's "optimistic" about Rodgers-Cromartie's return. If he plays, Rodgers-Cromartie will assume his nickel cornerback duties, but not be a kickoff returner.

Quarterback Michael Vick has also missed the past three games with a rib injury. He's been a full participant in practice for the past two days.

Three players were added to the injury report on Thursday. Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins suffered a thumb injury against New England, but has not missed a game due to the ailment. He was not on the injury report Wednesday, but was limited on Thursday. Defensive end Trent Cole was limited with a hand injury. Guard Danny Watkins was added to the injury report as a limited participant due to an ankle injury.

Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (concussion, knee), offensive tackles King Dunlap (concussion) and Todd Herremans (biceps) and defensive tackle Trevor Laws (knee) were all full participants in practice.

For the Dolphins, strong safety Yeremiah Bell was a full participant in practice with a foot injury. He was limited on Wednesday. Guard Vernon Carey was limited with an ankle injury. Carey missed last Sunday's game against Oakland, but reports out of Miami indicate that he will play vs. the Eagles.
